We had an amazing time staying at this charming hostel right by the ocean. The location is absolutely fabulous, perfect for solo travelers who appreciate a rustic eco-friendly environment. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms, although in need of some tender loving care, were clean. We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise and enjoyed exploring the many activities and vast beaches in the area. The communal atmosphere allowed us to meet interesting individuals every day. a wonderful experience at Luminosa!

One of the main difficulties was paying for my stay, as they only accepted cash and there was no nearby ATM. This meant having to travel to the next city, incurring transportation costs and bank fees.

We had the most relaxing stay at a hostel with an exceptional atmosphere and breathtaking views. The box system in the kitchen was a nice touch, making cooking a breeze. The other guests were friendly, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Despite being a short walk from the city center, the beachfront location made it all worth it. And yes, there were some mosquitoes, but that's to be expected when you're right by the sea. I highly recommend this wonderful hostel for a truly rejuvenating getaway.

Luminosa rates among the top three hostels I've stayed in, thanks to its atmosphere, environment, people, and comfort.
